Who we are

TRAAIL is a product of Aascend Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16374142). For any privacy-related queries, contact us at enquire@aascend.group.

1. What data we collect

When you create an account: your name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never store your plain text password).

When you use TRAAIL: leads, contacts, notes, tasks, files, and other CRM data you choose to enter.

Automatically: your IP address, browser type, device type, and usage patterns for security and product improvement purposes.

2. How we use your data

• To provide the TRAAIL service.
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing receipts).
• To improve the product using aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.

3. Third parties we use

• Anthropic (Claude API) — powers AI features. Your data may be processed to generate responses but is not used to train Anthropic's models under our enterprise agreement.
• Neon — database hosting, EU West region.
• Vercel — application hosting, EU region.
• Postmark — transactional email delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing. None of your CRM data is shared with Stripe — only billing information.
• Upstash — rate limiting infrastructure, EU region.

4. Data storage and security

All data is stored in the European Union. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

5. Your rights under UK GDPR

• You have the right to access the data we hold about you.
• You have the right to correct inaccurate data.
• You have the right to erasure — request this at enquire@aascend.group and we will process it within 30 days.
• You have the right to data portability — export your data as CSV from workspace settings at any time.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by UK law.

7. Cookies

TRAAIL uses essential cookies only — for authentication sessions and security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

TRAAIL is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We will notify registered users by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
